Applicaton
ZS series stainless steel horizontal single-stage centrifugal pump is multifunctional product with a wide range of applications,it can rransport all kinds of water including industrial liquids and different meida,applicable to different temperature ,flow and pressure ranges,the typical application mainly include as following:
Arch water: Water plant filtration,transport,zoned water supply,main pipe pressurization.
Industrial pressurization: Process water system,cleaning system
Industrial liquid transportation: boiler water supply,condenstaion system,cooling and air-conditionging system,manchine tool support ,weak acid and alkali transportation.
Water treatment: Distillation system separator,etc
Installation conditions:
ZS series stainless steel horizontal single-stage centrifugal pump is directly connected with the pump shaft,consisting of pump,pump shaft and standard motor.The pump shoule be installed in a ventilated and frozen place.
The installation of the pump shall ensure that the pump is not effected by the tension of the system pipeline during use.
If the pump is installed outdoors,it must be equipped with a suitable cover to prevent water ingress or conclensation of electrical components.
In order to facilitate inspection and maintenance,sufficient speace must be left arownd the nuit.
The electrical wiring device shall ensure that the pump is not danmaged by phase loss,voltage instability ,leakage and overload.
The pump shall be installed horizontally on the base,with the horizontal direction as the pump inlet and the vertical direction as the pump outlet.
Minimum inlet pressure - NPSH
If the pressure in the pump is lower than the vapor pressure of the liquid being transported, cavitation may occur. To avoid cavitation, ensure that there is a minimum pressure on the inlet side of the pump, and the maximum suction head H [m] can be calculated using the following formula:

In closed pipelines, it can be considered as the system pressure of the closed system (bar)
NPSH net positive suction head (meters)
It can be read at the NPSH curve corresponding to the maximum flow rate in the performance curve.
Hf - Pipeline loss at the inlet (meters)
It is the value at which the maximum flow rate may be generated by the corresponding pipeline.
Hv - Vaporization pressure of liquid (meters)
The magnitude of its value depends on the temperature and vaporization pressure of the liquid.
Hs - Safety margin (meters)
Minimum pressure head of 0.5 meters
By calculation, if "H" is a positive value, it indicates that the pump can operate at the maximum suction head "H"; If "H" is negative, it means that the pump must operate normally with a minimum pressure of "H" meters at the inlet.
Note: In general, the above calculations are not carried out. Calculate 'H' only when using the pump in the following situations:
